²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Doncaster Tops DfE Tables for A-Level Progress in Doncaster

Doncaster’s leading provider of A-Levels, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Doncaster, has achieved outstanding results with its first cohort, according to data published by the DfE.

The official figures, which are published by the government every year, measure how well students have done at A-Level, compared to their GCSE performance. They’re designed to help students and parents compare schools and colleges, both in the region and nationally.

The figures reveal that ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Doncaster students made more progress at A-Level than students from any other school or college in the Doncaster area.

Principal, Brendon Fletcher, said “The strong progress that ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ

students make reflects the care we provide, the high standards of teaching and learning, the wide curriculum we offer, and the young adult environment we’re proud to have created. We’re hugely proud of what students and staff achieved and the DfE performance tables place ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Doncaster firmly on the map.â€

²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Doncaster’s score of 0.09 makes it the only post-16 provider in the Doncaster authority to achieve an ‘above average’ rating.

The Auckley based sixth-form college opened in 2017, joining the Outstanding rated ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Pontefract in the newly formed New Collaborative Learning Trust. It’s first full set of results saw a 99% pass rate for A-Levels, with over half of all students achieving A*-B grades, and 100% of BTEC students passing their courses with a phenomenal 97% achieving a Distinction or Distinction* grade.
